She wanted a way to raise funds and awareness of Alzheimers within the community.

"As a recording artist and jazz performer I had the privilege of working with KAS Entertainment at the Bonny Lake Days. I was contracted by the Bonny Lake people to perform music during their outdoor summer movie series.

It turned out that the quality of Kurt & Serena's audio equipment for the movie was so good we were able to run our music through it as well. As a musician, I'm always looking for the best possible sound. I found that Kurt's sound system was top notch, right up there with the best that I've worked with.

Kurt was easy to work with and supportive, he was happy to help arranging for the extra equipment we needed to perform through his sound system. Overall it was a great experience.

People love these outdoor movies. I call them "walk in" movies because it's like re-creating the old drive in’s. There's open air, a nice night, families enjoying a movie projected on a big screen, people spreading out their blankets and having picnics, it's a great thing to do. More and more communities are doing that as a summer event.

What's great about this is it crosses the borders of different demographics, in that everyone in the family can do it together and actually enjoy it. Everybody loves movies, and its something that really appeals to all generations.
